The history of technology is a fascinating field of study, since it represents the perenial evolution of mankind as stimulated by society’s needs, tinkerers and isolated experimenters looked for a better world.
Alike, the technologial communication development carved out its way as around 1845, inventors, engineers and scientists were already looking for a reliable image communication system, far superior when compared with the flouring telegraphic transmissions of the day.
Such so profound research work led to the birth of the facsimile transmissions, almost 100 years before television.
